On sunny Thursday afternoon, June 30, 2022, members of the Rotary Club of Acton presented a cheque for $4508.70 to representatives of Townsend Smith Foundation, towards building of a hospice in North Halton at Trafalgar Road and 5 Side Road, the current site of Hillcrest United Church.

Representing the Rotary Club of Acton was Bill Vanderyt, President along with Dan Rochester and Karie Draper who are co-chairs of Rotary’s Online Auction Committee.

Representing Townsend Smith we had Janet Townsend, Founder, Pam Mulhall, Treasurer and Margaret Saliba and Lauraine Andrews, Co-chairs of TSF’s Community Awareness Committee. Graciously taking the photos was Lee Gould, Campaign Director. Jean Howden is from the Hillcrest United Church congregation.
